I was forwarded this video from WayneB. The video is footage from RCUniverse at the Electric Tournament of Champions(ETOC) 2009 with RJ Gritter flying the plane. The plane has a reversible pitch prop which makes for a spectacular flight. It was originally forwarded to me in Windows Media format but I found a copy on YouTube as well so you can watch it below instead of having to download it.
There’s quite a bit of information out there about variable and reversible pitch propellers. The key thing is they require the pitch assembly and a hollow shaft direct-drive brushless motor. If you do a search on YouTube, RC Universe or RC Groups for VPP or Variable Pitch Propeller you will find a lot of information.
