EPA All Electric Summer Fun Fly August 6th and 7th

Electric Powered Aeromodelers in Scotia, NY (Near Schenectady, NY) is hosting their All Electric Summer Fun Fly on August 6th and 7th if you’re interested in getting out and checking out some other events.  All electric aircraft are welcome from gliders, planes, helicopters and EDFs. They’re also offering flying on buddy boxes for ages 12 and up, so if you want to try out R/C but aren’t in a club yet it’s worth checking out a great opportunity.

It looks like they have a nice big grass runway and plenty of airspace to fly in and good parking and might be a fun thing to do.

I’ll probably take a couple of aircraft on Saturday Sunday. It’s not too far away either, located just off of exit 25 on the thruway.  Here’s a map showing the field.  If anyone else is going to go let me know(phone, email, message on forums here) if I go I’ll bring an extra 10×10 tent (or two if I know people are coming) in case anyone from our club shows up and needs one, just let me know. Temps should be comfortable in the upper 70’s and it looks like there’s only a slight chance of rain.
